Hildegard Pfahlhammer aus dem Westen trifft Cornelia Strunk aus dem Osten. Sie hatten sich damals kennengelernt auf den Weltfestspielen der Jugend 1973 in Berlin. Hildegard war in die DDR gereist und wurde von Cornelia begeistert geschult - im real existierenden Sozialismus.
Jetzt haben sie sich wiedergetroffen, 30 Jahre nach dem Mauerfall.
Sie lassen mit Leidenschaft, Musik und Komik die DDR Nostalgie aufblitzen und tauchen in das Heute. So ringen die beiden Frauen um das Für und Wieder der beiden Gesellschaftssysteme.
Eine Erfahrung haben beide gemacht: Im Vordergrund steht nicht das System sondern der Mensch.
