Urbanatix: Essence

Längst Kult-Status hat das Projekt Urbanatix erreicht: Ursprünglich für die Kulturhauptstadt RUHR.2010 konzipiert, ist die einzigartige Show ein furioser Mix urbaner Bewegungskünste wie Biking, Tanz oder Parkour, Artistik, Livemusik und multimedialer Performance. Mit „Urbanatix: Essence“ begeben sich die Macher nun ins Theater und haben die spektakuläre Show konzentriert, ohne das Wesentliche zu verlieren. „Urbanatix: Essence“ erzählt eine Geschichte in einem dystopischen Zukunftsszenario: Eine Gruppe von Menschen lebt irgendwo am Ende der Welt ohne Kontakt zum Rest der Zivilisation. Das Ensemble aus zehn Multitalenten erforscht in dieser Situation die wesentlichen Fragen des Lebens und was uns eigentlich mit unseren Mitmenschen verbindet.
