Es ist das Jahr 1992 als Whoopi Goldberg als falsche Nonne die Kinos erobert. Damals weiß Josephine: Sie wird Sängerin! Ihr Traum hat sie Jahre später jedoch nur in zwielichtige Berliner Nachtclubs geführt. Als sie als Zeugin eines Mordes untertauchen muss, fällt ihr wieder jener Film ein. Die einzige ihr bekannte Nonne, ihre alte Freundin Ische, bietet tatsächlich Unterschlupf im katholischen Elbhospital Übigau an. Josephine folgt dem göttlichen Ruf in die Provinz. So schlimm wird’s schon nicht! Doch dann hört sie den Nonnenchor… und braucht eindeutig Hilfe von ganz oben!
