Entdeckt wurde Benson Boone von Imagine-Dragons-Frontmann Dan Reynolds; auf seinem TikTok-Kanal stiegen die Views in kürzester Zeit in schwindelnde Höhen. Gleich für sein Single-Debüt “Ghost Town” (2021) wurde Benson Boone in Kanada und Norwegen mit Platin, in den USA mit Gold und im UK mit Silber ausgezeichnet, für die ’22er-Single “In the Stars” gab’s erneut reichlich Edelmetalle. Im Juli 2022 erschien seine Debüt-EP “Walk Me Home…”, und das Jahr 2023 eröffnete er mit dem Track “Sugar Sweet”, einem ersten Vorboten für die EP “Pulse”.
