Frank ist 50, Literaturprofessor, frustriert und zynisch und stark dem Whisky zugeneigt. Rita ist 26, Friseurin, verheiratet und will noch was vom Leben. Von Wissensdurst getrieben, belegt sie einen Kurs für Erwachsenenbildung – und landet bei Frank.
