Die UK Prog Legende MARILLION werden 2024 keine Konzerte geben. Gründungsmitglied und legendärer Gitarrist STEVE ROTHERY wird aber die Auszeit nutzen um mit seiner Solo Band zu spielen.
Aktuell sind es 3 Termine in Deutschland.
Steve spielt Songs der ersten 4 Marillion Alben, „Clutching at Straws“, „Misplaced Childhood“, „Fugazi“ und „Script for a Jester´s Tear“. Songs, die MARILLION kaum noch in ihr Live Programm aufnehmen. Diese Songs sind Classic Rock, während Marillion seit vielen Jahren die Fahne des Prog hochhalten.
Die Fans lieben es die alten Songs ihrer Progidole noch einmal live zu erleben. Die Band spielt alle Marillion Songs in Original Tonart und Sänger Martin Jakubski, selber Schotte, steht dem Original-Gesang von Fish was Gesangshöhe und Phrasierungen angeht, in nichts nach.
