Das Berliner Garage-Duo CAVA ist nach ihrem im Frühjahr 2023 erschienenen Debütalbum „Damage Control“ und unzähligen Shows zurück – und wie!
Am 15. November erscheint ihr zweites Album „Powertrip“ mit 14 neuen Songs, die zeigen, was die Band, bestehend aus Peppi Ahrens und Mela Schulz am besten kann: Fuzz, Distortion, energetische Drums, schnelle und zielstrebige Kampfansagen an Patriarchat, Klassismus und Kapitalismus. Die erste Single „Crashing“ stellt das eindrücklich unter Beweis. Der Song thematisiert das Gefühl nicht gehört und nicht verstanden zu werden und ist dafür extra laut!
Nach dem Albumrelease geht es im nächsten Jahr auf ausführliche „Powertrip“-Tour.
