Jessie Lee & The Alchemists
wurde 2015 gegründet und ist ein modernes Blues-Rock-Quintett unter der gemeinsamen Leitung der Sängerin-Gitarristin Jessie Lee und des Gitarristen-Komponisten Alexis „Mr AL“ Didier, unterstützt vom Bassisten Laurent Cokelaere, dem Schlagzeuger Stéphane Minana und dem Organisten Laurian Daire. Die angelsächsischen Einflüsse der Gruppe sind sehr breit gefächert und reichen von Blues bis Rock, darunter Soul, Pop und sogar Jazz. Die von ihnen geschaffene Musik ist modern, originell, von Traditionen geprägt und vereint Emotion, Freiheit und Kraft. Eine überraschende Alchemie. Nach dreijährigem Bestehen und Konzerten in ganz Frankreich erschien 2018 ein erstes gleichnamiges Album.
