Chubby and The Gang sind zurück und wollen die deutsche Musikszene wieder aufmischen! Angeführt vom Londoner Charlie Manning startete das Projekt 2019 mit dem Ziel, Hardcore-Punk mit den Elementen des Rock'n'Roll und Doo Wop der 70er Jahre zu verbinden. Seitdem hat Charlie eine „Gang“ wechselnder Bandmitglieder um sich geschart, die an den gefeierten Alben „Speed Kills“ (2020) und „The Mutt's Nuts“ (2021) mitgewirkt haben, welche beide bei Partisan Records veröffentlicht wurden.
Mittlerweile ist Chubby and The Gang beim Hardcore-Label Flatspot Records (bekannt für Bands wie Scowl und Speed) gesigned, worüber kürzlich auch ihre brandneue Single „The Bonnie Banks“ erschienen ist!
Von Medien wie dem Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, The Guardian und NME abgefeiert und von ihren Fans für ihre energiegeladenen Live Shows geliebt, kommen sie im November für drei explosive Shows nach Deutschland und spielen in Köln, Hamburg und Berlin.
