Motown ist eine Legende! Von 1961 bis 1971 brachte es das Detroiter Label auf sage und schreibe 110 Top‐Ten‐Hits, etliche davon eroberten die Spitze der Charts. Mit Weltstars wie The Jackson 5, Diana Ross, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops und vielen mehr steht die Hitfabrik aus „Motor Town” für glamouröse Acts und eine regelrechte Revolution der Popmusik.

The Sound of Classic Motown ist eine Hommage an dieses legendäre Plattenlabel und seine unvergessenen Hits. Seit über neun Jahren bringt die Show der Macher der Sweet Soul Music Revue die goldene Motown-Ära live auf die Bühne, mit dem Originalsound von Songs wie „ABC”, „Stop! In the Name of Love”, „I heard it through the Grapevine”, „Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone” und vielen mehr – geführt von dem bekannten Entertainer Ron Williams als Radio-DJ Dr. Feelgood von Radio S.O.U.L.!
