Catapults spielen energiegeladenen Emo-Punk, der von 0 auf 100 durch die Lautsprecher in die Ohren geht. Der Sound definiert sich durch die geballte Energie der vier Jungs und ist eine frische Abwandlung des 2000er Emos mit Pop Punk und Modern Rock Einflüssen. F.F.O.: The Wonder Years, Spanish Love Songs, Fallout Boy, Paramore, The Story So Far, Biffy Clyro.
Wenn schon der Bandname exakt beschreibt, wie schnell die eigene Musik von 0 auf 100 beschleunigt, um dann durch die Lautsprecher in die Ohrmuscheln zu knallen, dann hat man beim Brainstorming im verschwitzten Proberaum alles richtig gemacht. Zwei EPs, ihr Debütalbum "I´ll Be Honest", das bei Uncle M erscheint und durchweg begeisterte Kritiken bekommt, zahlreiche Shows, sowohl in kleinen Punkschuppen als auch auf großen Open-Airs und das alles erst seit 2018. Mit dieser Energie machen Catapults ohne Umwege weiter.
