ist eine in New York City ansässige Art/Noise-Punk-Band mit Tarra Thiessen von Gustaf und Sharkmuffin als Frontfrau. Ihr Sound kombiniert eingängige Hooks mit ironisch-boshaften Texten über Butter, das Töten des Doppelgängers und darüber, wie schlimm das DMV (die Führerscheinstelle in New York) ist. Tea Eater wurde 2022 gegründet und etablierte sich schnell durch ihre energiegeladenen Live-Shows und ihren DIY-Ethos. Seit der Veröffentlichung ihrer ersten Single „I’m Starting a Podcast“ haben Tea Eater die Bühne mit Thee Oh Sees geteilt, eine erfolgreiche Residenz am Broadway in Bushwick absolviert und sind an der Ostküste der USA getourt.
