VELCROS melden sich mit ihrem Debütalbum "Strange News From the Vault" zurück, das eine Phase überbordender Kreativität und Experimentierfreudigkeit widerspiegelt. Der Sound des Albums erweitert das musikalische Spektrum der Band in verschiedene Richtungen, wobei alle Elemente ihrer Debüt-EP ausgefeilter und frischer erscheinen. Das Album vereint eingängige, tanzbare Songs mit einem Twist und Momente der Ruhe und Schönheit, die an verschiedene Einflüsse wie Tom Petty, die Wipers und My Bloody Valentine erinnern.
