Die mit dem Juno Award ausgezeichneten kanadischen Sheepdogs bauen auf einem soliden, klassischen Rockfundament aus dreistimmigen Harmonien und doppelten Gitarrenleads auf und verbinden Southern Rock, groovebasierte Psychedelia und bluesigen Barroom-Swagger zu einem modernen Rock & Roll-Revival. Die 2004 gegründete Band hatte 2010 mit der Veröffentlichung ihrer dritten LP „Learn & Burn“, die mit Platin ausgezeichnet wurde, Erfolg im Mainstream und erreichte mit Alben wie „The Sheepdogs“ (2012), „Future Nostalgia“ (2015), „Changing Colours“ (2018) und „Outta Sight“ (2022) weiterhin Spitzenplätze in den kanadischen Charts.
