Wer Wolfgang Torklers Piano- Musik kennt, weiß, dass man sich hier zurücklehnen kann. Konsequent verfolgt er seit fünf Solo-Alben und einem Trio-Album den Weg der Reduktion, der Konzentration aufs Wesentliche. Die Zusammenarbeit mit René Bornstein ist die logische Konsequenz aus der langjährigen Solo-Tätigkeit Wolfgang Torklers. Beide Musiker schreiben in kongenialer Fortführung des entschleunigten Grundgedankens Torklers für ihre Duo-Besetzung und eröffnen so nochmal einen neuen Klang-Kosmos. Die Arbeit mit akustischen Samples und Loops, wie z. B. das Streichen des Bass-Bogens, Pedal-Geräusche oder Bartrauschen fügen sich organisch in den Gesamtsound ein.
