SchlagerMetall lässt Rocker Marianne Rosenberg singen und bringt eingefleischten Schlager-Fans die Luftgitarre näher. Zwischen Spaß- und Coverband verbindet die Band je zwei Stücke aus dem jeweiligen Genre zu einem irrwitzigen Potpurri.

Dabei mischen sich Texte von Matthias Reim und Black Sabbath oder Udo Jürgens und KISS ebenso gut wie die jeweiligen Melodien und Harmonien. Nach einem SchlagerMetall-Konzert fragt man sich, wie diese Songs je anders gespielt werden konnten.
