Ray hat afrikanische Wurzeln in Mosambik und ist als "begnadeter" Ausnahme-Gitarrist immer wieder gerne in zahlreiche Bands und Produktionen als freelancer gebucht. Er ist auch Studiomusiker und hat mit „20 /20 Vision“ seine erste eigene CD produziert, bei dem ihm Musiker-Kollegen wie u.a. Kevin Iszard, KJ Dallaway, Pamela O´ Neal, uvm. unterstützten.
Zu Gast Rino Galiano aus Mannheim, bei The Voice of Germany 2011 erreichte er den nationalen Durchbruch in seiner Karriere als Musiker.
Mit seinem Künstlervater und Freund Xavier Naidoo schaffte er es in den vergangenen Jahren immer wieder auf die großen Bühnen Deutschlands.
