Visita uno de los poblados talaióticos más completos de Menorca
Desde su ubicación en lo alto de una colina, el asentamiento talaiótico de Torre d'en Galmés habría tenido el control de todo su territorio circundante.
Retrocede al pasado y observa lo que se ha conservado de esta civilización de la Edad de Hierro. Durante tu visita podrás ver tres talayotes, numerosas casas circulares; un sistema de recogida de agua; varias cuevas funerarias; y un recinto de taula, donde se encontró una pequeña estatuilla de bronce que representa al dios egipcio Imhotep.
Torre d'en Galmés estuvo ocupada desde el año 2000 a.C. hasta la conquista cristiana medieval de 1287. Se calcula que durante su apogeo, entre el 1100 a.C. y el siglo II a.C., habría albergado a una población de unas 900 personas.
El Centro de Interpretación de Torre d'en Galmés ofrece interesantes recursos para interpretar los restos, comprender el momento histórico y apreciar la singularidad de este espectacular yacimiento arqueológico.
Torre d'en Galmés: Skip The Line Ticket

From its location atop a hill, the Talaiotic settlement of Torre d'en Galmés would have held control of all its surrounding territory.
Step back to the past and see what has been preserved from this Iron Age civilisation. During your visit you'll be able to see three talayots, numerous circular houses; a water collection system; several burial caves; and a taula enclosure, where a small bronze statuette representing the Egyptian god Imhotep was found.
Torre d'en Galmés was occupied from 2000 BC until the medieval Christian conquest of 1287. It is estimated that during its peak, between 1100 BC and the second century BC, it would have accommodated a population of about 900 people.
The Torre d'en Galmés Interpretation Centre provides interesting resources to interpret the remains, understand the historical moment, and appreciate the uniqueness of this spectacular archaeological site.
