Après 2 albums excellents mais passés presque inaperçus, c’est en 2019 que le groupe québecois, né avec l’envie de faire du Sonic Youth en français, signe “Junior” chez Sub Pop, étiquette phare du mouvement grunge (Nirvana, Soundgarden). Et c’est l’album qui change tout. Le quintet prend ce raz-de-marée avec la désinvolte “coolitude” du groupe rock qui leur sied si bien, et se laisse bercer par cette opportunité. Mais derrière cette nonchalance de surface se cachent des artistes manifestement passionnés et acharnés, qui explorent leurs influences post punk, krautrock ou encore jangle-pop en en tordant les limites.Leur nouvel opus “Mimi” est attendu de pied ferme !Barbey Indie Club
