Mondialement connu, le Harlem Gospel Choir est synonyme de puissance vocale, de sonorité glorieuse et l’énergie contagieuse. Depuis plus de deux décennies, il est le premier choeur gospel d’Amérique et a parcouru le monde entier pour enthousiasmer son public avec la puissance inspiratrice du gospel noir. La chorale a été fondée en 1986 par Allen Bailey, qui en a eu l’idée en assistant à une célébration en l’honneur du Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Au Cotton Club de Harlem.
