Audiences were captivated by the sheer energy and undeniable chemistry as they toured the US, sharing stages with Screaming Females and Geese, and made their way across the UK / EU including a stop at the Pitchfork Festival in Paris.Theyve amassed critical acclaim in a short period of time with NME saying theyre on their way to becoming the next great NYC band and Paste Magazine calling them an apocalyptic wasteland of NYCs best underground punk. Its The Magic was included by Rolling Stone on their Songs You Need to Know column, it was premiered with Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 6 Music and considered totally essential by Matt Wilkinson.The Heart, which follows the bands Partisan debut single Its The Magic, is a high-speed train of delirious percussion, courtesy of two drummers(!), and wonderfully demented electronic samples, weaving in and out of frontman Bret Kasers lyrics that inquire into the state of spiritual marketplace and the isolating results of consumption. Its an exhilarating and singular piece of hardcore electronic punk, with Lip Critic painting with a broad pallet of only the most extreme hues of emotion, each marked by a distinctive danceable mania.
