Laibachs kultiges Album “Opus Dei” war (mit Songs wie Life is Life, Leben heißt Leben und Geburt einer Nation), das 1987 auf dem Label Mute veröffentlicht wurde, wird nun nach 26 Jahren endlich remastert und auf Vinyl und CD wiederveröffentlicht. Die Veröffentlichung wird voraussichtlich im Mai 2024 stattfinden und Laibach wird sie mit einer konzeptionellen OPUS DEI TOUR promoten, auf der einige der Stücke des Albums zum ersten Mal seit vielen Jahren wieder aufgeführt werden. Zusätzlich zum Opus Dei-Material wird die Band einige wichtige Songs aus ihrem Katalog spielen, die Opus Dei vorausgingen, und ein paar neue Überraschungen einstreuen. Wie immer bei Laibach kann man auch dieses Mal das Unerwartete erwarten.
