Sahel Tour
„Sahel“ ist das jüngste Album von Gitarrenkoryphäe und Tuareg-Folkheld Omara "Bombino" Moctar. Das Album - benannt nach der riesigen afrikanischen Region, ist Bombinos persönlichstes, kraftvollstes und politischstes Werk bis heute. Es ist auch sein klanglich vielfältigstes, eine Eigenschaft, die direkt die die komplexe Vielfalt der Kulturen und Menschen, die die Sahelzone selbst ausmachen. Sahel wurde von David Wrench (David Byrne, Frank Ocean, Caribou, The xx) produziert. Das Album ist Bombinos erstes Album seit über fünf Jahren und folgt auf "Deran" von 2018, das ihn zum allerersten GRAMMY-nominierten Künstler aus Niger machte.
